ALL members registering with Bashaw Minor Hockey will be registered by Spordle. NO registrations will be accepted over the phone, or email.
Registration Information:
U5 will not be playing games. They will practice only. Parents can request an evaluation by coaching staff by December 15th if they feel their child would be ready to join U7 games come January 1st.
U7 aged players are not eligible to overage to the U5 division.
U9 aged players are not eligible to overage to the U7 division.
These are intro to hockey programs, therefore no overaging is necessary.
Any overage or underage requests can be submitted to the Player Movement Director for review prior to September 15th.
U7-U13 imports will be put on a waiting list pending BHMA registration numbers.
U15 & U18 imports will need player movement forms to register.
AB Health Care Numbers, Legal Land Location, Blue Sign etc. are all required to register. In addition to this, any new members to Bashaw Minor Hockey Association will also be required to provide a photocopy of the child's birth certificate. Each player's parent must complete the Respect In Sport For Hockey Canada Parents in order to be fully registered. Hockey Canada will not allow them to be rostered to a team without this completed on their file. The link will be provided upon registration completion. Completed registration forms and full payment (including concession/fundraising fees) will be required at time of registration before your child can be registered with Hockey Alberta. No child will be considered registered until everything is fully completed.
Each family is required to work 15 volunteer hours in the concession. In addition to this, you are also required to work any shifts for your childs tournament, as well as time box & 50/50 as decided for your team’s games throughout the season. You are also required to help out with any other fundraising opportunities that may arise (e.g. Events, Casino, Provincial Tournaments, Raffle Tickets, etc.). Coaches, managers, and board members receive a 5 hour reduction in hours per position. This year the concession/fundraising fee is $300. As usual, once the year is complete and all levels of fundraising and concession work has been completed, you may receive an EMT back for the amount of the fundraising fee if requested, or you may leave it with BMHA to forward on to use for the following year.
If you are new to the association, it is mandatory to select the items " New Player package" and "Fundraising Fee"
If you require new socks this season, you can select socks in items as well. Both home and away socks - please select 2.
